Birth doulas are trained women experienced in childbirth who provide continuous emotional, physical and informational support to the mother (or surrogate) before, during and after childbirth. Our birth doulas are members of DONA (Doulas of North America) and have an extensive understanding of the needs of a woman in labor. With a birth doula you will discuss and create a birth plan that is unique to you and your birthing situation.

A postpartum doula will come to your home for the first few weeks that you are with your newborn. The doula will assist you with newborn care and instruction, breastfeeding, and offer general family and household support. A postpartum doula has numerous benefits for mom, dad and baby, resulting in less fatigue for new moms, and a greater understanding of your newborns needs.
